The word Reiki is the combination of two Japanese words- Rei and Ki. Rei means God’s wisdom or the Higher Power and Ki is life force energy. When these two words are put together, Reiki can be described as Spiritually guided, life force energy. The Reiki practitioner, once attuned to this positive energy, becomes a conduit for the Reiki energy to flow through.
A reiki session is hard to put into words. I describe Reiki as a massage for your energy system. At our essence we are energetic beings. I feel it’s just as important, if not more so, to look after our energy body, just as we do our physical body.
